I've been so busy. I haven't been updating my blog! There's been a lot going on in Room 25! Congratulations to Hailey and Matthew D. for getting our first Character Award for Caring. Also great job to our candidates for student council: Haydn, Joey, Hannah, and Logan. They gave outstanding speeches and made some awesome posters, doing our class very proud. In the end, Parker and Hannah became our class representatives:)) Our class won the door contest for Red Ribbon Week and we owe a big thank you to Mrs. Miller for all her help putting it together. Lastly, thank you all so much for all your donations for our Hot Wheels Basket, our class party, and for volunteering to work at the Fall Festival. Your donations and support are so appreciated:))
Hello, I sent a note home with kids today about a great social studies newspaper that Mrs. MacFarlane and I are trying to get for the kids. It comes out once a week for the entire year and covers all the California State Standards in full color. It is $6.95 per child so we are asking for donations to make this happen. If you can donate for your child, or a child in need, we would greatly appreciate it. Also we would love to go on a couple of field trips this year and will need donations to cover the admission and busing for these field trips. If anyone would be interested in helping to head up a fundraiser, please let me know, it would be greatly appreciated. Have a great weekend:)
I hope everyone had a wonderful Labor Day weekend. Since this is a short week, we will not have reading logs, spelling test, or word of the day homework. Please don't forget to sign up for Remind101 at 747-233-4207 and put in the message @rrerocks. Also send in the student info card if you still have it or email me at [email protected] so I will have your address in case I need to get in touch with you. Thank you and stay tuned for our first art project that shou
Thank you so much for making Back to School Night a success. It was great meeting my new parents and seeing some familiar faces. If you were unable to make it please check your student's backpack for paperwork you missed. I would appreciate if everyone can fill out the student information sheet and return asap. Please sign up for the Remind 101 app also so you will receive text messages about school and classroom events.
Welcome to Room 25 and the 4th grade. I'm very excited to have all of you as part of my classroom this year. We are off to a great start and I look forward to getting to know the students better as the year progresses. I hope to see all of you at Back to School Night on Thursday from 6:00 to 6:30 or 6:30 to 7:00:)))

AuthorI have been teaching 4th grade at Ronald Reagan for 7 years and before that I taught 3rd grade at Jean Hayman for 4 years. I love teaching and find everyday to be an adventure. I enjoy reading, gardening, shopping , and spending time with my husband, three sons, and three dogs. (That's probably too many dogs!) Archives
